![]() ![]() Now you have the ‘Use Pen Pressure’ button on the toolbar, make sure it does not have a little ‘x’ mark at its lower right. I believe that the Huion driver utility has this ability and you should do that and select that profile when making changes there, for krita. Using the Huion driver setup/configuration utility, have you set up a separate application profile for krita? I don’t even need a solution, I just want to know what’s going on.Am I right in assuming you’ve recently installed krita version 4.4.5?īefore you downloaded and installed krita, were you using the Huion HS611 with the other graphics applications or did you get the HS611 after you started using krira?īefore you installed the latest Huion driver, did you uninstall any previous driver and/or other tablet drivers, making sure to disconnect the tablet, uninstall, full power off restart, install new driver, full power off restart, then connect the tablet? I am slowly loosing my sanity thanks to this, I’m not a superstitious person but I’m willing to believe my computer’s just haunted at this point. If I leave my computer alone for a few hours, sometimes the problem will not appear upon booting krita. It happens more frequently on documents with a larger aspect ratio. In a given drawing session, the problem may occur once on average every 3-4 hours, though can occur within minutes of starting, and even within minutes of having just resolved the issue, seemingly with no consistent cause. If I open a new document, delete it, and create another new document, the problem persists to the new document the second time only, and all subsequent times. If I open any saved document, the problem persists. If the problem occurs, I can open a new document, and the problem will not persist. The problem does not persist through a hard reinstall of krita. If one fails and another works, once the issue re-appears, a different one will work and others will fail. The problem persists through krita re-installs, computer restarts, tablet driver re-installs, and reconnecting my tablet, but not every time (re-installing tablet drivers has never solved it). ![]() I have absolutely no clue where to even start with this problem, and it’s been something that I’ve needed to deal with on and off for the better part of a year at this point. Systems like line smoothing also do not function when pressure sensitivity is lost. If the first menu I interact with is quick actions, I can leave quick actions, but If I enter it again, I cannot leave it unless I use my mouse. If I right click to bring up quick actions, I can use quick actions, but I cannot exit quick actions. If I then interact with any non-canvas window, it will return to the no-tracking no-pressure-sensitivity problem. If I take a tool box and pull it out of a docker and put it back in, tracking and pressure sensitivity will be working again, but if I right click to bring up the quick actions menu, nothing will be select-able, and on click it will disappear regardless of where I click in the menu. If I start hovering over something different, like the toolbox, and slide it onto the canvas, it will track, but pressure sensitivity will stay broken. Then, once I pull my pen away from the screen to the point tracking stops again, if I hover my pen or try to draw on the canvas, the pen will not be tracked. Seemingly at random times, though only if I’ve clicked out of krita with my mouse or pulled my pen far away enough from the screen that it stops tracking, a weird interaction will start: On the next occurrence of me drawing on the screen, pressure sensitivity will be suddenly nonfunctional, though will still work in non-krita software.
